Stuck in Pupland, Raffle1

I sadly forgot to grab the map path, but I was in Pupland, Raffle1 (easy), and in the room with the zombies and the skeletons.

I was happily hacking away at the undead trying to get through when I ran out of food, and so decided to hike back up... only to find the room above me had reset and I was ...

I don't know if there's much more I can add at the moment. The ability to pop up dialog boxes in the playfield would go a long way to provide information in a better way.

Also, the simplest way to make sure people don't use the quit command in the wrong way is to rename it or change the way it ...

Artificially constructed economies like those in computer games hardly ever work well, and the more restricted the emulation the faster they break, usually through hyperinflation. NPC store sold items become worthless, and so does the currency, and players begin to trade using some other item with a ...

I concur with Leaf. Besides, it is not supposed to be a 'cake walk' to get money early in one's Crossfire career. Later on it becomes much easier. Again, as Leaf said, there is a lot of food just lying around. If you really want to beg for something to get food ask for a "Horn of Plenty" and use it ...

d = done

n = next (as in display the next character race option in line)

It's mnemonic enough, and would make sense in a command line interface. The text area where all this appears is, however, small and off to the side, away from the center of attention, which is the playing field and ...

I've had the same results when trying to get friends to play, except so far I haven't got anyone past character creation. The character creation process is pretty daunting, especially when combined with the... less than perfect user interface in the clients.

People wound up picking the wrong race ...

Magic with material components

Crossfire has a very interesting and diverse magic system which I like, and I feel it can be made even more diverse by adding magic schools which use material components for the magic - that is, magic that in addition to spell points requires the expenditure of some object in the game. A few ...

I personally like the freedom to be able to choose whatever skills I want. I play a character that has every skill except for levitation, flame touch, meditation and clawing (for obvious reasons) and I don't see a problem with that. I'm not an expert in all the skills, many of them are at zero. I ...

Two new skill categories - synergetic and specialisations

In order to deepen and expand character development and make characters further customizable I propose bringing in two additional categories of skills that are present in various forms in other games in the genre. I am referring to synergy skills and specializations.

Synergy skills

Synergy ...
